Barber Shop Hosting "Funk Junk" Art Show

 

DOWNEY – In the city of "future unlimited" even electro-junk can be funky. Artists Roy Anthony Shabla, Carlos Durazo, Greenie Arts, David R. Youel will be among those presenting at the "electrified, mechanized, digitized, funk-junk art show". The show dubbed Contraptions is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at Ronnie Contreras’ barber shop, Number 34, 9029 Florence Avenue. The show will feature robotic art, roving poetry, gift bags and the Super Bowl.
